Slow Down, Give Thanks

“I’m so glad I live in a world

where there are Octobers.”

-L.M. Montgomery

Fall is the one season that whispers, "Slow down, give thanks." In addition to being able to wear infinity scarves, comfy sweaters, and cute boots, the perfect weather enables us to get a little closer. With Halloween and Thanksgiving, many traditions are brought to surface for my family and the opportunities arise for memories to be made.

Between work, school, and extracurricular activities, I want to ensure that my family finds time to do what matters most in this potentially busy season; and that's being together. I chose 12 activities that I would like to do as a family or with the kids that will ensure that we bond, have fun, and most of all enjoy the season.

After all, how can one really enjoy Fall if they don't stop to admire the beauty in the colors of the fallen leaves? Appreciating the little changes of the season magnifies the beauty of its miracle.
