I've been writing about being brave for the past week and one thing I know for sure is that bravery comes in all shapes and sizes. Some days require me to put my big girl panties on to face the world and other days only require me to walk with my head held high. Either way, being brave takes strength and it isn't always easy being strong.
I'm learning to rely on Him more and more each day. Having a great circle of people is also vital. When the going gets tough, I know that He is only a prayer a way. My people are only a phone call or text a way. Having people that believe in you and push you to never give up is vital. Community is real people. This life can not be done alone.
Being brave means knowing when to ask for help. It's the moments where we can stand no more and we aren't afraid to lean. We all need people to laugh with, to cry with, to be honest with us, and to help us keep our eyes on Him. Doing life is just a little bit easier when it's done together.
Brave enough to lean. In this season of my life l'm learning to lean on Him. Sometimes He has to take me to the edge and say hold on and trust me. It's not easy but He will be holding my hand every step of the way. Thanks for this post. I'm going to be reading your bravery post very up lifting.
ReplyDeleteRightintyme, Thank you for taking the time to read this post. I'm so glad you were able to connect. I agree, we sometimes get to those points where we feel we can go no more and he reminds us that he was there the entire time. :)
